Radiation Oncology
Our Radiation Oncology Department combines state of the art technology and cutting edge treatment in a warm compassionate environment. This gives patients convenient access to the most advanced cancer care, close to home. Our multidisciplinary team approach enables us to provide a comprehensive plan of treatment. The center offers a state of the art linear accelerator, cat scan simulator, and computerized treatment planning system. Our team of physicians, nurses, therapists, technologist, dosimetrist, physicist, and medical office staff work closely together to focus on the well being of each individual. We believe that by offering our help, guidance, comfort, and support we share in each individual's step toward the healing process. It is the combination of expertise and compassion that allows us to respond to the unique needs of each person.

We're dedicated every day, and in every way to provide the best quality of care to patients. With quality, trusted physicians and staff close to home, and with access to the latest protocols, we're able to deliver up-to-date medical oncology therapies for curing, controlling or relieving symptoms.
It all starts with a review of each person's needs for best quality of life. Medication may be the best course of treatment through chemotherapy. Or, the best treatment may involve a combination of biological therapy to boost the immune system along with radiation oncology and support services. Or, the best treatment may involve taking advantage of clinical trials. Depending on the nature of the cancer, these research studies may present an opportunity to try new treatments such as new medications.
Whatever the condition may be, we look at the whole person to fully understand his or her needs in body, mind, and spirit. Our goal is to find better ways to treat cancer and help those with cancer feel better.
