Access to Care
Community
Health Partners is dedicated to creating a healthier community by educating
people on key healthcare issues and on the role every one of us can play to
build a more efficient, cost-effective healthcare system.
Our Beliefs on Access
to Care
- Provide care for all, regardless of one's age, health status, employment
status, or financial means.
- Pay special attention to the poor and vulnerable, providing the same care
for everyone.
Because we believe all people should have access to healthcare, we provide
substantial
assistance to the poor and underserved. Depending on financial need, our
discounted care includes:
- Free care for any person who earns up to twice the federal poverty
guidelines (up to $42,400 for a family of four).
- Substantial discounts for any person who earns up to four times the
federal poverty guidelines (up to $84,800 for a family of four).
- Discounts like those we agree to with commercial payors for patients
earning above four times the federal poverty guidelines.
Believe it? Live It. Lend a hand.
- Too many people are accessing care through the emergency room for minor
ailments and injuries. This is far more expensive than going to a physician's
office, contributing to increases in healthcare costs. In non-emergency
situations, contact your primary care physician first. Click
here if you'd like a physician referral.
- Employers can offer plans that give their employees access to every hospital
in the area. This provides employees with more choices and ability to choose
a healthcare provider based on quality and service.
