Salka, Md, the area's finest teams of cardiologists, the Heart Institute at Community Health Partners provides advanced coronary interventional procedures including balloon angioplasty, coronary stenting, drug-eluting stents, high risk cardiac catheterization procedures, defibrillator and pacemaker implants. Additionally, peripheral interventional procedures are available including peripheral vascular procedures, lower extremity angiography and renal artery angiography. These procedures are provided in state-of-the-art catheterization suites, equipped with the latest in diagnostic equipment and staffed by a dedicated team of experienced nurses and cardiovascular technologists.
Open Heart Surgery ServicesCommunity Health Partners brings the experience and quality of a leading heart program close to home. Dr. Sam El Dalati, our open heart surgeon, and partner with University Hospitals Heart Surgery Group, brings over 17 years of heart surgery experience to Lorain County. Many surgical procedures, such as heart bypass, valve replacement and valve repair, are available at the Community Health Partners Lorain Community Medical Center facility in Lorain.
One-Stop, Post-OpUniquely designed for the highest level of patient comfort and continuity of care, the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Community Health Partners provides private rooms for both surgical patients and those who have had interventional procedures such as angioplasty or stents. Referred to as "One-Stop, Post-Op", you have the luxury of remaining in the same room throughout your stay, rather than moving from unit to unit as you recover.
