Services offered:

  • Five nuclear cameras, four dual head system, three whole body, one dedicated cardiac and one mobile unit. Provides service for all clinical Nuclear Medicine studies, including Red Cell Mass studies and breast, thyroid and tumor imaging. All oncology and cardiac services on PET.
  • Discovery IS CT/PET System

All registered and certified Nuclear Medicine technologists, CNMT or ASRT

The PET Scan is a sophisticated diagnostic test which provides information that cannot be obtained by any other means. The purpose may be to assess various metabolic processes, including brain activity; to measure the size and effect of a heart attack; or to assess the effectiveness of drugs on specific tissue.
