The Director of Care Coordination will be responsible for all aspects of patient flow and care coordination for inpatients at Community Regional Medical Center. Consistent with the Mission and Values, the Director will proactively oversee the responsibilities of many processes/functions and areas responsible for insuring timely, efficient and optimal quality of care to the inpatient population. The Director will have a matrix reporting relationship with the Care Coordinators and the Housekeeping Leader. The Director will have reporting relationship to the Director of Operational Excellence. Candidate will be an RN (current Ohio license) with a Bachelors in Nursing. A MHA or MBA is preferred. Three to five years experience management/leadership role. Must possess a collaborative and participatory management style with open, honest and direct communication skills. Superior interpersonal/written and verbal communication skills that enable timely and effective communication and collaborative relationships with physicians, community and all levels of the organization. Must have a bias for action. Possess skills in visioning, planning, developing, implementation, evaluation and decision making. High level of problem solving ability to integrate and interpret data from diverse sources to find solutions to financial, human and technical administrative or operational problems. Must function independently, work is not standardized and assignments are received in the form of results expected and broad goals. Able to manage multiple major areas/processes and develop policy, procedure, budget and plans to achieve goals. |
