The staff register nurse in the Emergency Department who under the direct supervision of the Emergency Services Director is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating all aspects of newborn, adolescent, pediatric, adult and geriatric care. Coordinates patient care activities with staff and ancillary services. Oversees the care delivered by LPNs and EMS Personnel in the Emergency Department.Maintains current knowledge of health care issues and nursing practice. Promotes the institution’s philosophy, mission, and values during all interactions with patients, families, staff and others. |

Requirements: |
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, current Ohio license. Demonstrated ability to function in emergency situations. Must maintain provider certification in BLS and ACLS. Must obtain PALS within 1 year of hire.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two years current Emergency Department experience preferred. Interpretation of EKG rhythm strips preferred.
