SEAWOLVES AMONG BEST IN JUNIOR OLYMPICS
Article from Cincinnati.com/Community Press
Mercy HealthPlex Sea Wolves swim team members Erin Peck of Alexandria, Jessica Peck of Alexandria, Phillip Englert and Victoria Englert of Fort Thomas swam in the 2009 Ohio Junior Olympic Championship Swim Meet at Bowling Green University March 13-15 among the fastest swimmers from about 40 teams from Ohio and Northern Kentucky.

Peck, 10, won the state championship for her bracket, and placed first in the 50 yard breaststroke and the 100-yard individual medley.

She is ranked 11th in the nation in the 50-yard breaststroke for her age bracket.

Englert and Peck both swam on the 11-12 girls' relay team, which included at 13th place finish in the 200 freestyle relay.

The Sea Wolves placed 14th overall. Phillip Englert made fourth place in the 100 freestyle, fifth in the 50 freestyle, sixth in the 100 butterfly and 11th in the 100 backstroke.

His relay team finished 10th in the 200 medley and 12th in the 200 relay.

SEAWOLVES HAVE A SUCCESSFUL 2008-2009 SEASON!
The Sea wolves swim season ended on March 15th in Bowling Green with a bang!  We placed 14th out of all teams in Ohio (large and small, there are roughly 40 teams that represent Ohio swimming). Since we are no longer in the small team division, this is our best overall finish to date and the first time we have ever cracked the Top 20!  The Sea Wolves had some amazing performances and the meet was highlighted with our first ever STATE CHAMPION SWIMMER. Jessie Peck WON the high point award for the 10 & Under girls (the best 10 & Under swimmer in the state) and was the champion for the 50 breaststroke and the 100 IM. Also, more than half of our our team scored at least 1 point at the most competitive age group meet in Ohio. We are so proud of everyone that competed this year and in this meet. Many of our team records were completely smashed..........we love changing the record board!
