Whether you are more comfortable in a group setting or need one-on-one attention, the Mercy HealthPlex has a program for you.  Each 8 week program encourages you to move more while adopting healthy habits. You’ll lose the weight and learn how to keep it off.
 
        

 

Revolution Spin

Spinning is one of the most effective cardio workouts. This class combines 45 minutes of spinning with 15 minutes of strength training. You’ll tone up and burn more calories!
 
   Starting March 8 - Mondays at 6 pm with Meg S.
   Cost per 8 Week Session:  $79 for Members, $99 for NonMembers
 
Camp Weight Loss
Find your motivation and lose the weight in this group fitness class designed for those who need to lose 20 pounds or more.
 
   Starting March 20 - Saturdays at 10am with Gretchen A.
   Cost per 8 Week Session:  $79 for Members, $99 for NonMembers
 
Weightless in Water
Water exercise is a great way to burn calories while going easy on your joints. This low impact group class will help you increase your range of motion and strengthen your core. No swimming required.
 
   Saturdays at 12pm with Mary C.
   Cost per 8 Week Session:  $79 for Members, $99 NonMembers

Group Training
Challenge yourself and challenge each other. Get more personalized attention in a social setting with this small group training class. The trainer uses the strength of the group to optimize your individual weight loss success. Start your own group or let us match you with an existing group. (* Prices vary depending on level of trainer.)

Partner Training
Exercising with a buddy helps you stick to a fi tness program. Bring a friend with similar goals and we’ll design a program that works for you both. If you need a partner, we can fi nd one for you.
 
   Level 1 Trainer – Cost per 8 Week Session:  $216 for Members, $256 for NonMembers
   Level 2 Trainer – Cost per 8 Week Session:  $256 for Members, $296 for NonMembers
   Level 3 Trainer – Cost per 8 Week Session:  $296 for Members, $336 for NonMembers
 
Individual Training
Nothing is more personalized than one-on-one training. With full attention focused on you, your trainer can develop a program specifi c to your needs and weight loss goals.
 
   Level 1 Trainer – Cost per 8 Week Session:  $368 for Members, $448 for NonMembers
   Level 2 Trainer – Cost per 8 Week Session:  $448 for Members, $528 for NonMembers
   Level 3 Trainer – Cost per 8 Week Session:  $528 for Members, $608 for NonMembers

Monthly Nutrition Lectures
Led by Registered Dietitian Aaron Dorfman, these lectures provide you with the nutrition education you need to jump start your weight management program.
Knowing Carbohydrates - Wednesday, February 24, 7-8pm
Want to know the truth about carbohydrates?  Aaron uncovers the truths and myths about the one food group our bodies rely on to give us energy.  You'll learn the main differences between good and bad carbohydrates, briefly touch on the glycemic index and receive examples of some of the best high energy foods around.
 
Sports Nutrition For All - Tuesday, March 23, 7-8pm
Professional athletes and weekend warriors alike depend on healthy, nutritious foods to build lean body mass, shed unwanted pounds and aid in recovery. Aaron will provide guidelines on how to improve your performance with sound nutrition.  The lecture will focus on carbohydrate, protein and fat consumption, water intake, healthy snack choices and a little on protein supplementation.  Come prepared with a pen or pencil to take notes on this interesting and exciting topic.
 
Understanding Food Labels - Wednesday, April 28, 7-8pm
Nutrition labels can be confusing!  Have you tried to pronounce some of the words on an ingredients list?  If you are looking to eat healthier, this lecture is for you.  Aaron can help you understand what to look for on a label, what functions certain ingredients serve and how to properly pick out the very best foods in the store.
Cost per Lecture:  $7 for Members, $10 for Non-Members

Individual Nutrition Counseling
Meet with a Registered Dietitian to assess your eating habits and create a plan that’s right for you.
 
   Cost per Session:  $80
 
Nutrition Pack Plus
Includes a one hour nutrition consultation with a registered dietitian and two half hour follow ups to ensure that you are heading in the right direction.
   Cost:  $149 for Members, $159 for NonMembers
