Mercy Clermont Pain Management Center

People who suffer from chronic pain have a new option for finding relief: The Pain Management Center at Mercy Hospital Clermont.

Chronic pain is defined as that which persists beyond the usual course of an acute disease or after a reasonable time for healing to occur. The period varies between one to six months in most cases. Studies show that chronic pain affects millions of Americans and can have devastating effects, including lost productivity, lost income, and a significant change in the quality of life.

The Pain Management Center provides relief from all types of chronic pain through interventional procedures that include radio frequency, epidural, sympathetic blocks and a multidisciplinary approach, including Physical and Behavioral therapy. Some of the more common conditions that are treated include:

  • Back pain
  • Neck pain
  • Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)
  • Spine injuries
  • Cancer pain
  • Fibromyalgia
