Mercy Providence in New Albany, Indiana, is welcoming a new Executive Director.  Yvonne Cook comes to Mercy Providence with over 25 years of experience in long term care and geriatrics. 

“We are very pleased and excited that Yvonne chose to join the Mercy and Providence families,” says Brian Forschner, President of Mercy Health Partners’ Senior Health & Housing Services, which owns and operates seven other senior living communities in the tri-state area.  “We are confident that her experience and positive energy will be an absolute asset to Mercy Providence and Mercy Health Partners.”

Ms. Cook received her degree in healthcare administration from Western Kentucky University and has been a licensed administrator since 1996.  She has twice received “Administrator of the Year” from the Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities and is a governor-appointed board member of the Kentucky Aging Commission.  Ms. Cook was born in Columbia, Tennessee.
