Q. What are the licensure requirements of your staff in Assisted Living?
A. All care administered to residents is provided by licensed nursing staff.
Q. How many meals are provided in Independent Living?
A. One meal a day is provided to all Independent Living residents.
Q. Is there a fee for personal laundry?
A. Personal laundry service is available for an additional charge.
Q. What if I need dry cleaning done?
A. Dry cleaning is available for an additional charge.
Q. Do you have visiting hours?
A. We welcome visitors at all times. Between the hours of 8:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m., access is available through an intercom connected to the nurses' station.
Q. Do you have to be Catholic to live here?
A. All faiths are welcome.
Q. How often do you have Mass?
A. We have daily Catholic Mass and Rosary administered by our resident priest.
Q. Do you offer transportation?
A. Transportation is provided free of charge within a 10-mile radius of the facility on designated days.
Q. How is mail distributed?
A. Our Independent Living residents have individual, locked mailboxes. Mail for our Assisted Living and Nursing residents is received through our front desk and dispersed to residents and/or appropriate designees.
Q. Can we take our relative out of the facility for the weekend?
A. Yes. We request that you notify staff at the time of departure and expected return.
Q. Do residents in Independent Living and Assisted Living have to bring their own toiletries?
A. Yes. Residents bring their own additional items as needed.
Q. Do you have a washer and dryer available?
A. Free laundry facilities are provided for our Independent Living residents.
Q. How are your meals served?
A. We offer a daily menu in all levels of care served restaurant style.
Q. Can you have guests for meals?
A. Guests are welcome. There is an additional fee for guest meals.
Q. Can I keep my own doctor?
A. Any physician may attend our Independent and Assisted Living residents but we mandate all physicians visiting our Nursing residents be credentialed with the facility.
Q. Is cable television available?
A. We are pleased to offer a discounted package to all of our residents, which includes 73 channels through Time-Warner Cable. Cable is included in the monthly rate. It appears as an item on the resident billing statement.
Q. Are kitchenettes provided in the apartments?
A. Each apartment is equipped with a kitchenette.
Q. Is there a beauty shop?
A. Yes. A full service beauty shop is available on-site for our residents.
Q. Do we have an optometrist and podiatrist on staff?
A. Visiting specialists provide these services.
Q. Can I get a tray delivered if I need one?
A. Trays are available for an additional charge for our Independent and Assisted Living residents.
