Mercy Sacred Heart Village (MSHV) is hosting its first community health fair on September 18, 2009. The free event is open to the external community and will be held at the Clifton Community Center (2117 Payne Street, 40206) from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Vendors at the event include (but are not limited to): Lifeline, United Crescent Hill Ministries, Alzheimer’s Association, O’Neil Chiropractic and Orbit Medical. Screenings will include (but are not limited to): diabetic foot screenings, scoliosis, blood pressure, vertebrae pressure and bone density screenings. O’Neil Chiropractic will be offering free chair massages.
"We are excited to bring free health screenings and information to the community," explains Jeri Welch, LPN at MSHV and member of the health fair planning team. "This health fair is a perfect example of sharing our mission with the community while providing a safe place to offer screenings, health information and an overall enjoyable time."
