Annual Pet Blessing at Mercy Franciscan at West Park
Mercy Franciscan at West Park (MFWP) will be holding its annual Pet Blessing on October 3, 2009 beginning at 10:30 a.m. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. that same day. In order to pre-register your pet, please call 513/451-8900 by September 28.
In celebration of the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi, the ceremony will include a blessing by Father Jack Wintz, O.F.M. Each animal will receive a certificate of blessing, along with treats for both pet and pet owners. Father Wintz is the author of the book, “Will I See My Dog in Heaven?” Copies will be available for sale and for autographs.
