Planning Commission Votes Unianimously for Re-zoning of Planned Site for New Hospital

The Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission voted unanimously for the re-zoning of the planned site for our new west hospital. The proposed site is located on North Bend Road near I-74 in Green Township.
The 6-0 vote is yet another indication that we are moving in the right direction toward developing the proposed site and increasing access to high quality healthcare services for the residents of Cincinnati and western Hamilton County.
This vote follows the unanimous approval from the Green Township Trustees on July 31 for the re-zoning. The final two steps in the re-zoning process include consideration by the Hamilton Co Rural Zoning Commission later this month and by the Hamilton County Commissioners, which we expect next month.
The new hospital and support locations will enhance access to acute care, primary care and a variety of outpatient services, including chronic care management. We will continue to keep you apprised of developments as we move along this exciting path.
