Mercy Hospitals Anderson and Clermont Host Vascular Screenings

Vascular disease, such as stroke and abdominal aortic aneurysm, is known as a silent killer because there are often no symptoms or warning signs. Find out if you are at risk with a quick, painless screening from Mercy Hospitals Anderson and Clermont, leaders in cardiovascular care for the east side.* In less than 60 minutes, you'll receive your preliminary results and gain piece of mind.
Find out if you are at risk for these three vascular screenings:
- Cartoid Artery Screening: To identify buildup of plaque in the cartoid arteries that could lead to stroke.
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening: To detect the existence of an aneurysm in the abdominal aorta that could lead to rupture and cause death.
- Peripheral Arterial Disease Screening (ABI): When abnormal, may indicate peripheral arterial disease and a high risk of coronary artery disease.
Who should be screened?
Men and women, ages 50 or older, with a family history of or have the following risk factors:
- Diabetes
- High cholesterol
- High blood pressure
- Smoking
- Obesity
- Stroke, abdominal aortic aneurysm or vascular disease

Cost: $99 for three noninvasive, vascular screenings. Payment is due the day of the screening. We accept cash, check or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express).
*Based on the number of admission in the hospitals' service areas for heart-related conditions including heart attacks, heart disease and open heart surgery.
