Along with the unique physical structure of the building, you'll find the breathtaking historic chapel of the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor and a unique walking path through rustic grounds that depict the Stations of the Cross. The Terrace invites all members of the surrounding community to enjoy its warm water pool and religious services.

Independent Living apartments offer life with a view of the beautiful Terrace grounds for those who can live independently, but want to be steps away from activities and support.

Additional Services
Mercy Franciscan Terrace provides specialized services designed to meet the needs of older adults. Among the services, you'll find:
Dementia/Alzheimer's Care
We provide assistance and living opportunities for those with dementia and/or Alzheimer's which include specialized activities within a secure and supported environment.
The peaceful atmosphere helps residents feel at ease. Services include private rooms; three nutritious meals a day; care by licensed nurses and state-tested nursing assistants; and daily activities.
Rehabilitative Services
Mercy's long-term care facilities offer on-site, comprehensive and professional rehabilitative services. We provide physical, occupational and speech therapy to help our clients restore and maximize their activity levels and their quality of life.
Inpatient Care
We provide short-term inpatient services for people who have been discharged from the hospital, but who are not yet ready to return home. Working with the nursing and social services staff, we help the individual and family determine a plan of care that enables an appropriate and safe return home.
Outpatient Services
We provide outpatient services with a one-on-one approach, where the
individual is the focus.
Respite Care
Respite care is provided in furnished, private rooms for short stays when family members or other caregivers are away. Respite care is also a way to get to know our service and compassion first-hand. Services include assistance with medication, bathing and dressing, if needed; three meals a day; weekly laundry and housekeeping service and all utilities including telephone and cable TV.
Volunteer Opportunities
There are angels at Mercy Franciscan Terrace--they are the volunteers who give their time and their talent to support the residents at Terrace. From the gift shop to the activity areas, the smiles and dedication of Mercy's volunteers cheer the soul of residents, staff and visitors.
The Terrace Guild also requires angels to help raise money for the residents of the Terrace. If you are interested in becoming a Guild member and/or a Terrace volunteer, please call the front desk at 513/761-9036.
