Catherine McAuley Circle

An Invitation
The “Catherine McAuley Circle” was named after Mother Catherine McAuley, Founder of the Sisters of Mercy who sponsor St. Rita’s Medical Center. It was established by the St. Rita’s Health Care Foundation Planned Giving Committee in 1979 to recognize and honor all who have remembered St. Rita’s in their will or have arranged another type of planned gift.
History
Since 1918, St. Rita’s Medical Center has provided leadership in progressive healthcare to Lima and the surrounding community. Growing from a 101 bed community hospital in 1918 to its present size of over 400 beds, St. Rita’s is now a regional medical center and the largest medical facility in a 70-mile radius of Lima.
Through the years, St. Rita’s Medical Center has been blessed by many benefactors who have left legacies for the purpose of supporting our healthcare programs and services through planned gifts. These gifts reflect a personal commitment to ensure healthcare excellence in our community for today’s generation and the generations to come.
As an alternative, you may prefer to ask your professional advisor to notify us that you have included the Medical Center in your estate plan. By discussing your plans with us and/or your advisor, we can ensure that your wishes are properly followed and result in the shared vision of a healthier future both today and tomorrow.
