 The Keifer-Mercy Health Center is a primary health care clinic located in the Keifer Community Center alternative school in Springfield. Community Mercy Health Partners opened the clinic in 1997, in partnership with Springfield City Schools, to improve health care access for the students and their families. The clinic is open year round.
Since opening, the clinic has achieved a number of successes, such as improving school attendance, decreasing emergency room usage by those served by the clinic, decreasing pregnancy rates and achieving a 100 percent immunization rate for children two years old and younger.
