Experience/Skills: Previous Nursing Assistant experience is required. Prefer a minimum of one year of previous experience. Nursing students without previous experinece, who are within two years of graduating from an accredited and professional school of nursing, pursuing a A.D.N or B.S.N, and can provide written documentation from their school of the completion of core competencies as determined by the nurse manager and clinical education department. License/Certification: Must be eligible to take the State Tested Nursing Assistant Exam.If applicable may maintain status as STNA via accumulation of annual continuing education hours. Annual CPR certification Annual competency/skills review. Position Specific Information: Position serves on a Med/Surg unit serving adult oncology and general pediatric patients.
