64-slice Volume Computed Tomography (VCT) Imaging System

Imaging Services provides services to Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric patients with services available 24 hours a day to Inpatient and emergent cases through regular staffing or on-call coverage. Outpatient services are provided in each department.

Services are consistent with the St. Mary's mission, the population served and the settings for which services are provided. The hospital makes arrangements with others to facilitate the patients admission. Patients are referred and transferred to meet their needs.

The medical staff who have credentials to practice at St. Mary's order diagnostic services. All associates function within the guidelines of their registration, certification, or licensure. Associate competency levels are maintained through additional training and continued education classes. All patient information regarding preps for procedures is located on the IDX Radiology Information system. All patients receive their preps and instructions from the Centralized Scheduling Department or the Reception area responsible for patient instruction. Inpatients are given their instructions and prep by Hospital personnel responsible for the care of the patient.

It is the goal of each area represented to assure the following care is provided:

  • The appropriate test is ordered for the patient
  • The test is performed in a timely and efficient manner
  • The test is performed accurately
  • Continuity of the Care of the patient is maintained throughout the exam
  • Safety of the patient is maintained
Respect and dignity are maintained throughout the patient's exam.
