5th Annual Palliative Care and Surgery Conference

Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center - Conference Center
This conference will focus on Ethics in Surgery. Keynote speakers: Peter Angelos, M.D., PhD, University of Chicago Medical Center, Professor of Surgery, Chief, Endocrine Surgery and Associate Director, MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics. Dr. Angelos has written widely on ethical issues in surgical practice and how to best teach medical ethics to surgical residents.
Taylor, M.D., Medical Director & Fellowship Director, Center for Palliative Care, The Ohio State University Associate Professor of Neurology, Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine. Dr. Taylor has been invited locally, regionally and nationally as a guest lecturer on ethical issues surrounding end of life care. He has published three books chapters on Spirituality, Brain Death and Ehtical Issues in Neurology.
