Frequently Asked Questions

Will my medical insurance cover any services?
Many insurance companies will cover massage therapy services with a prescription from your physician that includes medical diagnosis (a mental health diagnosis will not be accepted). A few auto insurance companies also cover this service. Please contact your insurance company if you think you are eligible. You must have a written authorization from the insurance company and a script from your physician before the first appointment. We do take workman's compensation clients with a script from your physician and proper authorization from your work place insurer.

What should I bring to my fitness orientation?
Fitness members are asked to wear comfortable clothing, bring your physician consent form, medication list, current health history (including surgeries and procedures) and method of payment.

Will I be fully clothed for my massage appointment?
Your comfort is a high priority to our staff, and your privacy is given the utmost respect. Due to the hands-on-techniques of massage therapy, it is recommended that you wear only undergarments during your session. Please feel free to discuss your preference with your therapist before you begin your session.

What payment types do you take for services?
All the centers accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

What is integrative medicine?
Integrative Medicine works with current practices of western medicine and ancient eastern practices to improve the health of your mind, body and spirit. Integrative Medicine can include massage therapy, acupuncture, yoga and healing touch.

Why do I need a physician's consent for the fitness program?
The Medically Endorsed Fitness Program is designed to care for a client that may have some higher risks when exercising as well as being appropriate for an apparently healthy individual. We like to have a team approach in caring for you and by requiring consent from your physician, we open the line of communication between the physician, you and our staff.

What are the credentials of the staff?
All staff at the centers are either degreed or have a certification in their area of expertise. This gives you the highest quality of care available.

Are there discounts on the services
We do offer various discounts on services at the centers. Please contact the location of choice or the instructor to discuss discount options.
