Cancer programs and support groups often operate in collaboration between hospitals, medical professionals and cancer community groups. The programs and support groups listed here are free of charge unless otherwise indicated. The American Cancer Society serves, to the best of its ability, as a clearinghouse for all cancer-related support groups in Northwest Ohio. Cancer Symptom Management
Many of our patients have told us, “The cure should not be worse than the disease.” Therefore, Symptom Management is an important part of your cancer treatment. Symptoms can include, but are not limited to, nausea and vomiting, pain, mouth sores, anxiety, sleeplessness and fatigue.
