Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center Funds

Below is a partial list of the various mission-based programs and funds to which donors to the Mercy St. Vincent Foundation may choose to direct their gift.
  • Marguerite d’Youville Program-provides patients, employees and their families with assistance in obtain medications, food, clothing, shelter, and other basic needs in case of emergency financial need.
  • Home Away from Home Fund-supports the needs of guests of the on-site temporary housing for families of patients.
  • Senior Outreach Program-provides in-home interventions and an array of support services for seniors with chronic illnesses in our community.
  • Positive Choices Program-largest teen pregnancy prevention program in Lucas County that emphasizes developing good decision-making skills.
  • Hope for Families Program-provides education, individual and group counseling and case management for women at risk for substance abuse and their families.
  • Nursing Fund for Excellence-supports training opportunities and other needs of the nursing staff members.
  • Physician Fund for Excellence-supports a variety of needs of the physician staff including educational and training opportunities and learning aids.
  • Palliative Care Fund-supports the needs of patients who are seriously ill or facing end of life, including support for their families and training for staff members.
  • Life-Flight Trauma Fun-supports equipment and training needs of the Life-Flight medical helicopter transport service.
  • Women of Toledo Fund-supports services that meet the unique health care needs of women in our community.
  • Regional Burn Care Center Fund-supports the equipment and training needs of the staff and medical care supply needs of patients in the Regional Burn Care Center.
  • Northwest Ohio Heart Center Fund-supports cardiac and vascular services and programs.
  • Pastoral Care Fund-supports the services provided by the Pastoral Care Department chaplains and staff.
  • Family Care Center Fund-supports the services provided at the Family Care Center.
  • Mercy Children’s Hospital Foundation-supports services and programs of the Mercy Children's Hospital.
  • Mercy College Fund-supports the needs of Mercy College of Northwest Ohio.
  • St. Anne Mercy Charitable Fund-supports services and programs of the Mercy St. Anne Hospital.
In addition many departments and patient service areas have funds established to support their needs. Below is a partial list of those funds.
