The Children`s Miracle Network is a non-profit organization supporting children`s hospitals and research centers throughout the U.S. and Canada. Money raised locally by CMN stays in Northwest Ohio and goes directly into St. Vincent Mercy Children’s Hospital programs benefiting kids.

The Diabetes Self-Managment Education Program empowers patients to successfully manage their diabetes by teaching skills needed to keep blood glucose levels in target ranges. Individualized plans are based on ADA standards of care. Our staff includes two Certified Diabetes Educators. We hold a Diabetes Association Education Recognition Certificate for quality.

Enterostomal Therapy Nursing - Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center
Services: Inpatient & Outpatient services. Preoperative/Postoperative teaching ostomy care including fitting of ostomy equipment and treatment of irritated skin around an ostomy, Preoperative stoma site marking, Pressure ulcer prevention and treatment, Acute and chronic wound care. Management of skin irritation associated with incontinence and management of peritubular skin irritation.

Social Services - Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center
The department assists patients and families to make the transition from pre-admission to post hospital services including coordinating the efforts of service providers to meet the continuing needs of patients and families once they are discharged from the hospital. The Social Services Department also provides counseling and support.
