Alcohol & Drug Awareness Program for Teens - St. Charles
This is a two-part alcohol & drug awareness series held on the 1st and 2nd Wednesday each month. You must attend both classes. A parent must also accompany any person under 18 years old. Pre-registration is required - no walkins. Call to register and for more information.
The cost of the program is $75.00.

A Woman First
A Woman First provides free mammograms and pap tests. The following eligibility criteria must be met:
1. Should be 40 years of age and older,
2. Meet liberal income guidelines,
3. Do not have insurance or Medicaid,

That Special Women
A mastectomy and chemotherapy boutique. The shop offers anything you may need for breast cancer - prosthesis, bras, lingerie. They also carry wigs. Insurances are accepted. If you do not have insurance, the shop prides itself that "No one is turned away."

Grief Support - Willard Area
"Living with Loss" is a bi-weekly support group for people of any age who have lost a loved one. The group is part of a collaboration with Community Hospice Care and Mercy Hospital of Willard. The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in the Wasserman Room at Mercy Hospital Willard. Help Me Grow
Help Me Grow is a program that provides prenatal services and newborn home visits along with information about child development. The program helps families with young children, birth to 3 years, connect with resources they need. The program also provides service coordination and ongoing specialized services to those families in need. Another feature of Help Me Grow is a Wellness guide which can be obtained by calling the Help Me Grow number above.Help Me Grow also provides services to children with disabilities who are ages birth to 3 years old. This part of the program ensures these children with developmental delays and disabilities have access to and receive needed intervention services.

Child Abuse Clinic
Provides a thorough medical exam for children with alleged/suspected child abuse to prevent further intentional injuries.
Children are seen by appointment with an ODJFS or law enforcement referral.

Face the Facts/Burn Prevention
This is a program to prevent burns and other fire related injuries. Face the Facts is a program for juvenile fire starters. Hours by appointment only.

Mended Little Hearts of Toledo
The support group is committed to all patients and families who are dealing with congenital heart disease and pediatric heart disease in our community. We are here to listen and offer encouragement. The groups mission is to provide both emotional and educational support to these families.

Family Resource Center - St. V's Children's Hospital
The Family Resource Center is an information link designed to help families deal with a hospital stay, understand their child's illness and treatment, and to raise healthier children. This is a free source for information open to the community. Books, videos, and other materials on a variety of topics including healthcare, specific illnesses and conditions, growth and development, hospital and community resources, support groups, and much more are available on loan or provided free at the Center.

Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter
The mission of the Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter, is to enhance the quality of life of all persons affected by Alzheimer's disease and other memory loss disorders through compassionate services, diverse educational programs, effective advocacy, support for research and access to resources. The Victory Center

Alcoholics Anonymous - Mercy Health Partners
Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 3 of the Mercy Health Partners facilities. The twelve step program helps people addicted to alcohol stop drinking. Provides ongoing surpport for recovering alcoholics.

Ft. Meigs Center for Health Promotion
The Ft. Meigs Center for Health Promotion houses the Mercy Rehabilitation/Therapy Department as well as the Perrysburg YMCA.
The Mercy rehab department has a full scope of therapy services including Physical Therapy, Aquatic Therapy, Women's Health, Sports Therapy, Pediatric Aquatic and Massage Therapy.
The YMCA offers all the traditional YMCA programs.

Hospital Eligibility Link Program (H.E.L.P.)
H.E.L.P. is a free referral service provided by Mercy Health Partners. We are here to assist uninsured patients in obtaining medical benefits through federal, state, and hospital programs. Our representative will provide the following services at no cost to the patient: - Explore eligibility under public assistance programs
- File applications on your behalf
- Schedule and attend appointments
- Provide transportation when necessary
- Provide medical documentation to Social Security Administration for disability claims.

This office will provide free legal assistance for low-income individuals and groups in the areas of housing, domestic violence, domestic relations, consumer and bankruptcy law, government benefits, and elder law, among others.

LifeStar Ambulance Service- St. Charles Mercy
LifeStar is a full-service emergency and non-emergency transportation service. Wheelchair and ambulatory transportation service available. Long-distance transportation available. Service to and from hospitals and nursing homes. Service is available 24 hours a day. All requests, cost information or referrals must be handled through the dispatch center at 693-1611.
Ohio Medicaid and Medicare approved. We bill insurance companies direct.

McAuley Health Services - Tiffin
Primary healthcare physician’s office currently accepting new patients over the age of ten years. An employee of the Seneca County Department of Job and Family Services provides financial screenings and then fees are determined by total household income. The service provides the security of having a primary care physician and licensed nursing staff, as well as development of your own "family plan for health." The service also provides evaluation for education programs when applicable, periodic re-evaluation of eligibility for financial assistance, linkage to community assistance programs, and access to transportation for health services when needed.

Mobile Meals of Toledo
Home delivery of meals to anyone who needs assitance with meal preparation and/or diet maintenance, including elderly, ill, disabled, those convalescing homebound, perinatal and postpartum patients. Service includes the delivery of three meals daily (Monday - Friday). Holiday and optional weekend service available. Twelve modified diets offered in a four-week, seasonally adjusted menu.
Cost of meals based on a sliding scale according to income.

OB / Gyn Clinic - St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center
The OB/Gyn Clinic at the Family Care Center provides women with comprehensive routine and high-risk prenatal (during pregnancy) care, postpartum (after pregnancy) care and gynecological care. Its focus is to promote health throughout a woman's entire life. Skilled nurses counsel females of all ages - and their families - regarding obstetrical and gynecological health issues and behaviors that promote well-being. The clinic offers the WIC Program, nutritional counseling with a registered dietician, and individual instruction by our registered nurse perinatal educator. Appointments only.

Parkcliffe is a residential assisted living community specifically designed for people with alzheimers and dementia. Personal, individualized care provided in a structured, secure environment. A functional and cognitive assessment is performed. There are four levels of care.

Rescue Mental Health Services
RESCUE Mental Health Services is a gateway to community mental health services in Toledo and northwest Ohio. They work hard to maximize the effectiveness of community resources and to speed the delivery of mental health services to individuals in urgent need. Services are available to anyone in Lucas County. RESCUE also provides emergency services to other counties in Northwest Ohio. Services will not be refused due to someone's inability to pay.

Sleep Disorders Center - St. Charles Mercy
A comprehensive program for diagnosing and treating all major sleep disorders. The Center is staffed by a specialized team of professionals, including physicians, psychologists and registered sleep technologists. The program is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

River Centre Clinic (Eating Disorders)
Specializes in the treatment of eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, "compulsive overeating" and other eating disorders. Our multi-disciplinary staff is trained in the latest approaches to treatment. Treatments include individual, family, and group counseling, as well as psycho-education and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The IOP includes comprehensive psychological and educational treatments as well as a healthy eating plan.

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program
WIC is a supplemental food program for pregnant and breastfeeding women. WIC also provides healthy foods and nutrition education at no cost to infants and children of the Lucas County community. The education component of WIC focuses on the connection between good nutrition and health. St. Vincent's WIC program is the largest hospital-based service of its kind in Lucas County. Participants must live in Lucas County and meet WIC income guidelines.

This group supplies support and education for ovarian and gynecological cancer survivors. The group meets at the Holiday Inn, French Quarter on the second Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m.

The Heart in Hand Quilters
This group provides support and education in a familiar setting of a quilting group for quilters who have been diagnosed with cancer.
The group meets on the 2nd Monday of the month from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Sylvania Senior Center, 7140 Sylvania Avenue, Sylvania, Ohio. No pre-registration required. Walkins are welcome.

This group provides support for women with breast cancer. The group meets at 7 p.m. on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at Olivet Lutheran Church.

We understand how frustrated or frightened you may be when your baby won't stop crying. When you don't know what to do, call Mercy Children's 24 hour Crying Baby Hotline.
When you call us, we'll do our best to help you determine what might be causing your baby to cry, offer suggestions that may help him stop crying, and stick with you while you try each one of them. Even if none of our suggestions work - because sometimes babies cry no matter what you try - talking with a caring adult who understands your concern and frustration can relieve some of the pressure and help you handle the situation.
