Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, established as Toledo's first hospital in 1855, is Mercy regional referral center for critical care. Each year, St. Vincent has more than 63,000 emergency room visits, 20,000 admissions and 1,400 births. St. Vincent has long been a leader in providing quality medical education and promoting community development.

Mercy St. Charles Hospital, a level III trauma center, offers a full continuum of healthcare services. It houses a homelike maternity center, a comprehensive cancer center, and a women's health center. St. Charles is proud of its Oregon/East Toledo location and its longtime community partnerships.
