  William M. Quirk, MD, FACOG
Interim Program Director, Transitional Year Residency Program
Dr. Quirk is a Board Certified, Clinical Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, with over ten years experience in graduate medical education.  He is a graduate of Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Elizabeth Health Center.  After nine years of private practice, during which time he served as an active member of the Resident Teaching Staff as well as NEOUCOM Student Clerkship Director, he pursued an Advanced Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery and Urogynecology Fellowship in Hollywood, Fl.  Upon returning to the area as Department Chair and Program Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology, he is currently serving as Interim Program Director of the newly established Transitional Year Program.


 

James F. Kravec, MD
Assistant Professor of Medicine, NEOUCOM

Dr. Kravec received his medical degree from the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency at Summa Health System Akron City Hospital, where he was selected as medical student teacher of the year and resident of the year.  He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the NEOUCOM Alumni Association Board of Directors and the NEOUCOM Foundation Board of Directors. His academic interests include topics in general internal medicine and teaching of medical students. Dr. Kravec lives in Canfield, Ohio with his wife Cindy. He is a Youngstown native, graduating from Youngstown State University.  His interests include local politics, landscaping, and golf.
