General Practice Dentistry



St. Elizabeth Health Center is committed to graduating well prepared, competent health care professionals who are able to meet the challenges of caring for the dental needs of a community.

Our goal is to strengthen patient care and we are fully committed to clinical excellence, with training in preventive and restorative care, rotary endodontics, oral surgery, IV sedation,the compromised patient care, and implantology.

Residents receive training in our newly remodeled dental clinic. The program also features an expanded dedicated oral surgery clinic.

The General Practice Dental Residency is a fully accredited one-year program as well as an accredited second-year program, approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association.

A full component of a teaching staff as well as dental specialists, participate in the teaching program. Significant educational support for the curriculum is also provided by:

  • Anesthesia
  • Psychiatry
  • Social Services
  • Infectious Disease
