Vincent W. Vanek, MD, FACS, CNSP

Dr. Vanek is a board certified general surgeon, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a certified nutrition support physician. He is a member of the American Society for Bariatric Surgery and is specially training in bariatric (weight loss) surgery.
Dr. Vanek is a Professor of Surgery at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM) in Rootstown, Ohio and the Director of the Nutrition Support Team and Associate Director of Surgical Education as well as Chairman of the Medical Research Committee and Clinical Nutrition Committee at St. Elizabeth Health Center. He has a special interest in bariatric surgery and has been performing this procedure since July 2002.
Dr. Vanek has authored numerous book chapters, journal publications, and presentations on a variety of bariatric surgery, nutrition, and general surgical topics.

Dr. Woodruff has had special training in Bariatrics surgery and is a member of the American Society for bariatrics surgery and has been performing bariatric procedures since July 2002.
He is married and has two children. Dr. Woodruff enjoys the outdoors and home projects.
