HMHP's department of psychiatry and behavioral health provides inpatient services at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Our broad range of available services address the personal and family problems that are often prevalent in today's world.
In addition, help with chemical dependency issues is available through the New Start Treatment Center and smoking cessation services are available through HMHP's Regional Tobacco Treatment Center.
Our services include diagnostic assessments, medical management, individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy and family/marital counseling.

Inpatient Services
The inpatient unit at St. Elizabeth operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help address the personal and family problems that are so prevalent in today's world. All of our programs apply intensive utilization review and nationally recognized standards of care that assure our patients will always receive the most efficient and effective forms of therapy.
New Start Treatment Center
Perhaps the most important thing to know about chemical dependency is that it is a treatable illness. With the right help, people can recover and go on to lead sober, productive and healthy lives.
The New Start program, offered through St. Joseph Health Center, offers individualized treatment in a comfortable and confidential setting. Our staff members are skilled, caring professionals who are trained to treat the physical, emotional and psychological aspects of chemical dependency.
Entering the program is simple. Individuals may call New Start directly, or they may have their physician make arrangements for admission to the program. In all cases, patient information is strictly confidential.

HMHP’s Regional Tobacco Treatment Center
HMHP’s Regional Tobacco Treatment Center is comprised of professionals dedicated to helping you quit smoking. The center’s five session, evidence-based treatment program incorporates a holistic approach toward recovery from nicotine dependency. The program is available to those 18 years of age and older.
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Individuals may be referred through their primary care physicians, employers or may call the center directly.
