What is the ACS Patient Navigator Program?
The Patient Navigator program helps patients, families, and caregivers find help with the many needs that could arise during the cancer journey. Trained Patient Navigators link those dealing with cancer to needed programs and resources.

  • Provides information and education about the cancer journey
  • Provides individual assistance and support to ensure a better quality of life
  • Provides American Cancer Society information and services
  • Provides a connection to local and national resources
  • Provides assistance in understanding financial, health care, community, social, and other systems


  • How can an ACS Patient Navigator help you?
  • By providing literature on coping with cancer, what to expect during chemotherapy and radiation, and dealing with side effects of treatment
  • By referring you to support groups, classes, and other programs for information and support
  • By helping you identify resources for financial assistance, medication needs, home health care, insurance questions, transportation and other concerns
  • By listening, caring, and helping you in your time of need
  • By identifying activities that can help ensure a better quality of life
  • By helping cancer survivors learn to self-navigate


  • Saundra Hall is the ACS Patient Navigator and can be reached by calling 1-888-227-6446 ext. 8053.

    Patients and family wishing to speak in person with Saundra can find her at the St. Joseph Cancer Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30am until 4:30pm and at the Boardman Cancer Center on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30am until 4:30pm. Call ahead for an appointment or just stop in.
