At St. Elizabeth's we believe that the principles of academic medicine coupled with strong compassionate care define the profession of medicine. Our residency programs are guided by experienced and dedicated faculty who provide a stimulating educational, clinical and academic environment.
About Us
St. Elizabeth Health Center, licensed for 550 beds, is a Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Hospital Organizations (JCAHO) accredited teaching facility of the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM). Located midway between Cleveland and Pittsburgh, St. Elizabeth Health Center, the area's only Level 1 Trauma Center, and St. Joseph Health Center, a Level III Trauma Center make up the tertiary component of the Humility of Mary Health Partners network, a member of Catholic Healthcare Partners, the largest not-for-profit health system in Ohio.
St. Elizabeth's Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Transitional and Dental residency programs are fully accredited by the Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education, American Dental Association and collaborate closely with the American Osteopathic Association approved residency and undergraduate programs at St. Joseph Health Center.
