Application Process

Each potential applicant for post-doctoral training at St. Joseph Health Center must provide proof of eligibility to the Medical Education Department as indicated in the Basic Standards for each residency or internship program.

The following application requirements must be met:

Internship Application Requirement
    All internship candidates must apply through the ERAS system. Documents required through ERAS include:
  • Personal Statement
  • Proof of academic good standing from an accredited college of Osteopathic Medicine through the submission of a Dean’s letter and official college transcripts.
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Board scores: Part I
Residency Application Requirement
  • Personal Statement
  • Proof of graduate status from an accredited college of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Proof of graduate status from an AOA accredited Internship Program-Certificate
  • Official College Transcripts
  • Three letters of reference
  • Board Scores: Parts I and II
  • Interview with the Residency Director
