Regional Trauma Network
St. Elizabeth and St. Joseph Health Centers Together, St. Joseph and St. Elizabeth Health Centers form the region’s only trauma network. St. Elizabeth Health Center is the area’s only Level I Trauma Center – the highest level possible – for adults and children. St. Joseph Health Center is the first hospital in Trumbull County verified as a Level III Trauma Center. This partnership between hospitals assures that even the most severely injured patients can receive the treatment they need close to home, easing some of the burden faced by families who might otherwise have to travel to Cleveland or Pittsburgh during their loved one’s hospitalization.
