St. Joseph Health Center's
Level III Trauma Center

St. Joseph Health Center’s Level III facility is a trauma center with a highly organized system for getting seriously injured patients the immediate care they need and also takes an active role in injury prevention and educational outreach programs.

“The trauma center designation starts with our emergency department, and takes into consideration the hospital as a whole and the care we can provide injured patients from the time they enter our doors through their rehabilitation and release,” stated John Finizio, St. Joseph’s President.

Presentations are available to groups on injury prevention for the mature adult, violence prevention, firearm safety, and the dangers of drinking and driving, just to name a few.
